  • Our body consists of cells. To accurately create the body with many cells, it is important to coordinate cellular behaviours through intercellular communications. To address the mechanisms underlying accuracy of development, we are studying the intercellular communications in mouse embryos, especially focusing on the Hippo signaling and cell competition. The major topics of our researches are as follows:
    1. Mechanisms of cell differentiation in preimplantation mouse embryos.
    2. Mechanisms of intercellular communications that regulate cell competition.
    3. Roles ofintercellular communications during early mouse embryogenesis.
