Research topics 【 display / non-display

  • My research field is structure formation and cosmology. We examine how the large-scale structure of the Universe, galaxies, and supermassive black holes have evolved over time in a Universe dominated by dark matter and dark energy, using large-scale cosmological hydrodynamic simulations. By comparing our simulation results with the astronomical observations by, e.g. Subaru Telescope and the Hubble Space Telescope, we can constrain the theories of structure formation and cosmological model. We are also performing radiation hydrodynamics simulations for the formation of first massive black holes in the early universe.
